The company THABA since its inception has had several modifications to its corporate purpose. By Resolution No. 483 of the MEP, dated September 29, 2009, the current business purpose, provides the following:
1. Produce, distribute and wholesale leather goods, umbrellas of all kinds, curtains, doyle, tablecloths, all made of synthetic and textile materials and other related items in Cuban pesos and convertible pesos.
2. Produce and wholesale natural latex gloves, balloons and other items derived from latex and various polymers in Cuban pesos and convertible pesos.
3. Provide sterilization services in Cuban pesos and convertible pesos.
4. Produce, assemble, distribute and wholesale toys in Cuban pesos and convertible pesos.
5. Produce and wholesale footwear in Cuban pesos and convertible pesos.
6. Distribute and wholesale finished products of the UCC entities in Cuban pesos and convertible pesos.
7. Assemble, classify and wholesale jewelry items in Cuban pesos and convertible pesos.
8. Wholesale raw materials and spare parts, with prior authorization from the UCC, according to the nomenclature approved by the Ministry of Internal Trade in Cuban pesos and convertible pesos.
9. To wholesale the trimmings and waste from the production process that are not usable in Cuban pesos.
10. Wholesale of idle or slow-moving materials, in Cuban pesos.
11. Offer cargo transportation services through Freight Agencies in Cuban pesos.
12. Provide non-tourist accommodation and food services associated with it to the MINIL system in Cuban pesos.
13. Offer personnel transportation services to its workers and entities in Cuban pesos.
14. Provide canteen-cafeteria services to its workers in Cuban pesos.
15. To wholesale the recoverable containers of chemical products and glues, in Cuban pesos.
16. Produce and wholesale surplus agricultural products from self-consumption and retail to its workers and the population through the State Agricultural Market in Cuban pesos.
